ABOUT ME

Following my passion of event planning, I joined the wedding world by happy accident in 2012 and have been in the business of love for well over a decade now.

I have planned some 500-odd weddings in venues across London as well as the east and west coast of Australia.

From small and sweet, to large and lavish - I've experienced all of the unique and beautiful ways we celebrate.

Originally from Aotearoa NZ, I've called Naarm Melbourne home since 2019 and in 2021 finally took on the long-term goal of becoming a Commonwealth Marriage Celebrant (whoop!)

In 2023, in Brazil, I married my long-distance covid-love in an intimate, simple ceremony with just our nearest and dearest from my now-husbands' side of life. We then celebrated all over again 4 months later, under a beautiful oak tree in Melbourne to make it all legal!

They were both humble celebrations that truly represented who we are as a couple and I firmly believe that should be everyone's experience of their wedding day!

Things I'm passionate about...

A keen traveller - I've lived in four continents, three Aussie states and travelled to over 35 countries

(and yes, I will happily travel interstate and overseas to conduct a ceremony!)

Serving others - helping my local community and using some of the ceremony profits to give to those in need is a core value of mine (ask me about the charities I support)

Live music - I grew up listening to everything under the sun and when not out travelling, I tend to spend my fun-money on gigs of all shapes and sizes (lets chat ceremony tracks!)

Bringing people together - I am the social coordinator of the group and can't help but book in the newest spot for us to gather (need ceremony or reception venue tips? ask away!)

I can't wait to connect and discuss how we can craft something unique, fun and memorable for your very own ceremony, bringing your personalities and love story to life.

Me Te Aroha x

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
